THE PRINCE MISTRESS
( Stuck between two prince )
WRITTEN BY ADEFIOYE IMOLEAYO CHRISTIANA
I stare up at the man before looking back at the girl before me who smiles a little at me.
What’s happening here?
Please don’t tell me this is what I’m thinking.
It isn’t right?
It can’t be possible!
I don’t wanna get sold to some people and act like a slave for the rest of my life.
I want to wait for mother, I know she will looks for me and she will find me here.
I just have to wait for her.
I have to hang in for my mother.
She has no one else expect from me.
She wing rest until she sees me and find me.
I know she wouldn’t. I have to believe in her and believe that she’ll come for me.
Whatever it takes.
“Are your sure she’s the one you want sir?”
The man standing in front of me says to the man behind him and I shake my head.
No. No please.
I don’t want to.
I don’t want to go.
I just want to stay here for my mother.
“Yes, she is. I’m sure she would quite be useful in the palace. ”
The man says and I look up at him. The palace?
I’m.. I’m going to the palace? To act as a slave?
This isn’t how I chose my destiny.
I just want to live the rest of my life beside my mother even if we have nothing.
Why this… God, why me?!
“Then her you will get.”
I am drag up forcefully from the floor and I shake my head as tears rolls down my cheeks.
“Please don’t take me away. I don’t want to go, I just want to see my mother! Please! Return me back to my mother! ”
I shout but instead, a pain collides with my cheek and my eyes rolls to the back of my head as I try to gain my balance.
My vision is already starting to become blurry.
I raise my head up to look at the man who grit his teeth at me before signalling to the guy holding me.
I shake my head and try shouting again but a handkerchief is hold over my mouth and I can feel my eyelids getting heavy as I turn to look at the girl who was beside me earlier.
She shakes her head at me indicating I have no choice and that was the last thing I saw before everything turned dark.
I groan as I try to put up at wherever it is that I am.
My head hurts so much like it has been hit against something and I sigh before slowly opening my eyes to see a metal.
A door closed in front of me.
What’s this. What’s happening? Where am I?
I hold to my head as a groan slides through my mouth.
God. My head hurts so damn much. So terribly.
I try to put the pieces together and everything comes crashing back in.
I was kidnapped. Passed out for days. About to be sell to a man or… Am I sold already?
“I can see you’re awake already?”
A voice says beside me and I turn sharply to see the same girl that was with me at that place.
I open my mouth but nothing comes out of it.
I gulp in and look around where I am to discover that I’m at the heck of the car, bondage as if I’m some sort if goods.
That’s right. I’m a good.
I just got sold.
I look around and notice that we are not the only one here.
There are some other girls with me and only few guys, each with their eyes closed and In their own small groups.
The car is still moving and I wonder where we are going?
The man said something about palace earlier.
Does this means that we are going to the palace?
And I’m going to be a slave to some King, queen and princes in some palace that I know absolutely nothing about?
I turn back to the girl and she smiles warmly at me.
I don’t think she ever sleeps.
She’s the only one in this car that isn’t sleeping, instead she has her head against the wall of the car.
“I know you must be curious about were we are going.
I heard its to King Harold.”
She says and I raise my brows.
I don’t know who that is.
I don’t even know that palaces still exists.
I thought all we had are government and presidents.
“Who is that?”
I ask her as I notice a discomfort at my wrists and I stare down at it to see that my hands are cuffed.
“He’s the king of enchantia and I must warn you.
I’ve heard tales about the palace.
The queen is a quite sensitive woman so I advice you to please do not act foolish when we get there.”
“I just want to see my mother.”
I mutter and she shakes her head.
“Do you think you would be able to see your mother when you’re killed already?”
“I advice you to act smart and keep your life.
It’s your choice. Whether you would stay alive or not.
The ball is in your court.”
